The driver has to be in possession of a valid driving licence (for that category) for at least 1 year.

There are 4 important documents/cards you must bring when collecting the vehicle:

• A full driving licence (UK customers: both parts) for all named drivers, with details of all endorsements. If you have 6 points or below on your licence you can still hire from us. If you have a DD, UT, BA or DR endorsement that is within less than 5 years, CD endorsement that is within less than 11 years, 3 years for disqualifications you are not able to hire from us. International driving permits must be accompanied by the national driving licence.

• A credit or debit card for payment. The card holder must bre present at time of collection.

• Any 2 of these: passport or identity card, utility bill (dated in the last 3 months), building society book or statement, police warrant card or HM ForcesID card.

A photo of the renter will be taken on collecting the vehicle for insurance purposes.


Age Restrictions:

The drivers of the vehicle must be a minimum of 21 years of age, 25 for minibuses.

Additional Drivers:
Each rental is entitled to one FREE additional driver, but they must meet the above criteria and also bring their drivers licence when collecting.

London Congestion Charge:

A London Congestion Charge applies for vehicles entering or moving within the Zone from Monday - Friday between 07.00 - 18.00 - except on public holidays. Charges are £10.00 per day payable either in advance or before midnight on the day of entering the Zone. This charge increases to £12.00 if paid after midnight on the day of entering the Zone and the driver has until midnight on the next charging day to make this £12.00 payment. It is the customer's responsiblity to register the rental vehicle and pay the charge. Express van rental will not do this on the driver's behalf. Driver's will be liable to pay all penalties or fines related to late or non-payment of this charge plus a £30.- administration fee for handling the penalty charges.

Fines:

Fines acurred durring the rental period are the customer's responsiblity,Driver's will be liable to pay all penalties or fines related to late or non-payment of these charges plus a £30.- administration fee for handling the penalty charges.

Refuelling Charge:

All vehicles should be refilled to the same level prior to return to Express van rental, otherwise our current refuelling charges will apply. Which are at a price that is competitive with local fuel stations. No refunds will be given for unused fuel.
